We tackle three key areas: accessibility, transparency and relatability:
- We bring vetted sustainable products together under one roof, saving customers time and energy researching. Our guides and simple swaps help them reduce their footprint in quick and easy ways.
- Our Canopey Calculator gives customers stats showing the carbon emissions, water and plastic they save by shopping sustainably, compared to the mainstream alternatives. This allows them to track their impact over time. It also allows for businesses to assess their product impact and use this to show why they're better than the mainstream alternatives.
- We’re a sustainable brand for a mainstream audience. We’re setting out to appeal to more than just the ‘eco warrior’, building an accessible and fun brand that connects with a wider audience which is growing each year.
We picked Canopey as a name because it’s all about bringing everything under one roof. From plastic-free toiletries, to cruelty-free skincare, organic food & drink and much more.
It’s also about providing an inclusive home for everyone – from the eco-warriors and the refillers, all the way to those who are just starting to think about what they buy.
